Innovare Group & Privacy

Information privacy is important to Innovare Group, and we abide by the privacy principles as set out in the Federal Privacy Act 1988.  The application of these principles to our work means that:

  • the information we collect is necessary for our work, and is collected fairly and lawfully.
  • we must take steps to tell individuals why we are collecting personal information, what laws give us authority to collect it, and to whom we disclose this information.
  • the personal information we collect must be relevant, up to date and complete, and not collected in an unreasonable way.
  • personal information we collect must be stored securely to prevent its loss or misuse.
  • we must give individuals access to personal information about them, and allow it to be corrected if it is wrong.
  • we must endeavour to keep accurate and up to date information, use information for a relevant purpose, and only use information for another purpose in special circumstances, such as with an individuals consent or for some health and safety or law enforcement reasons.
  • we must not disclose personal information to someone else, unless in special circumstances such as with an individuals consent or for some health and safety or law enforcement reasons.

 

Collection, Use & Retention of Personal Information

Personal information is collected by Innovare Group in the following circumstances:

  • Employers inform us of a contract position that they would like filled.
  • Potential employees submit their details in order to obtain a career with us.
  • Companies / individuals request help with obtaining a solution to a problem or opportunity via our consulting division.

This information enables us to respond to queries effectively, or to make an assessment on future staffing opportunities.  You personal information is only used for the primary purpose for which is has been obtained, and is not disclosed to anyone else, unless in special circumstances as set out in the Information Privacy Principles.

Contact information may be retained where employer and consulting queries have been submitted.  Resumes and cover letters are not retained where an applicant has been unsuccessful in obtaining a career with Innovare Group.  All information retained by us is subject to our rules of retention and disposal, and will be archived and deleted after specific periods of retention.

Information Security

All retained personal information is stored in our secure office premises.  Any personal information requiring transmission over the internet is done so via our SSL encrypted internet links.

In order to keep our client records up to date, please advise us of any changes of details as soon as possible
